Big Moose Camp is located on Lake Nosbonsing in Corbeil, Ontario. The lake is a rocky lake with swarms of Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass along the shore and are common up to 4.5 pounds with 5 and 6-pounders available. Some of the schools of bass are so huge that when you find them you can catch a bass every cast. The hunting packs of Smallmouth are always on the move so you need to hunt the shoreline for them. Wolseley Lodge is located on the famous French River, which is more like a chain or lakes with a few beautiful rapids. The river is well known for outstanding Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass fishing. There is also great fishing for Perch, Channel Cats and panfish. Auld Reekie Lodge is located 2 hours north of North Bay near the town of Gowganda and located on Gowganda Lake. Their lake is just stuffed with trophy Smallmouth Bass. If you target Smallmouth Bass on their lake you will catch 50 to 80 fish in a day and maybe more. Most will be in the 1 to 3 pound range with 4 to 5 pounders thrown in there every day. Their true claim to fame for Gowganda Lake is the monster trophy Smallmouth Bass. They have many guests catching 6 and 7 pounders and a couple times per summer a guest get them over 8 pounds. In 2010 a guest caught a Smallmouth Bass over 10 pounds and let it go not knowing it was a world record. They have beautiful lakefront cottages along with a main restaurant and British Pub style bar. Ellen Island Camp is located on an island in the north-end of the Famous Lady Evelyn Lake. Lady Evelyn Lake produces some really nice size Smallmouth Bass. They are plentiful in the 2 pound range but guests do bring in nice bass in the 3 to 5-pound range. The new waterfront cottages are clean and roomy with a fully equipped kitchen for housekeeping and a 3-piece bath. Vermilion Bay Lodge is located on big and beautiful Eagle Lake in Northwestern Ontario Canada. This is a big lake and known for big fish and the Smallmouth Bass fishery is no exception. This lake is stuffed with gigantic Smallmouth Bass. It's a deep rocky lake and exhibits the typical Canadian Shield rocky structure that is indicative of the best Smallmouth Bass lakes. 2 and 3 pound bass are extremely common and can be caught in great numbers. Their guests who target bass are sure to catch a few in the 4 and 5 pound range. Every year a few lucky guests catch real trophies in the 6 and 7-poud range. Tumblehome Lodge is a family owned housekeeping fishing lodge featuring great hospitality and a friendy staff. They are located on Crotch Lake. The lake is 1.5 hours' drive west of Ottawa and 1.5 hours north of Kingston and Belleville. The closest towns are Sharbot Lake and Clarendon. Crotch Lake, without a doubt, is the very best bass fishing lake in Eastern Ontario. It's a huge lake with a diverse structure. Rocky shorelines and points are inundated with Smallmouth Bass. The back bays, narrows and shallow satellite lakes are stuffed with Largemouth Bass. The stars of the show are several smaller lakes that are attached to Crotch Lake. You can only get into when the water is high in the spring and early summer. Both lakes are stuffed with Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass. Guests can expect to catch 30 to 50 Smallmouth Bass per day, with quite a few over 3 pounds and a couple in the 4 to 5 pound range. There are 6 and 7 pound bass in the lake. The Largemouth Bass population is a little lower but still in great numbers. Largemouth Bass are common in the 2 to 3 pound range but there have been 8-pounders caught and released. Rugby Lake Lodge is located an hour's drive north of Dryden and about 1.5 hours from Vermilion Bay, Ontario. Rugby Lake is one of the most northern lakes where you will find Smallmouth Bass. They showed up in the lake around 1990 and their numbers grew like wildfire. Today guests can expect to catch on average around 30 per day in the 1 to 3 pound range. There are lots of 4 and 5 pounders caught and a few times a year a 6-pounder gets caught. The Smallmouth Bass fishing gets better every year because the lake was made for smallmouth. There is an abundance or rocky shoreline, sand bars and feeder streams making this an awesome fishing lake. Ruby Lake Lodge is a small family-owned fishing camp with comfortable lakefront housekeeping accommodations. They also have fantastic fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch and Crappie with boat caches on remote lakes including a Lake Trout lake.
McIntosh Lodge - is a beautiful little family run lodge on famous Canyon Lake, which is north of Vermilion Bay and west of Dryden. The lake is famous for high numbers of Smallmouth Bass as well as big Smallmouth Bass. Smallmouth Bass in the lake are common in the 14 to 17-inch range but there are many bigger bass caught by guests each week. If targeting Smallmouth you should catch quite a few in the 3 to 5-pound range and once in a while a bass over 6 pounds gets caught. John will make sure you have the right baits for Canyon Lake and he will set you up with maps to the hottest bass spots on the lake. They have super nice lakefront housekeeping pine cottages with a beautiful main lodge for card playing or watching the big game on satellite TV. Their rates are very reasonable.
Cozy Camp is located on the English River near Ignace, Ontario. Smallmouth Bass are common in the 1 to 3-pounds range with many Smallmouth Bass in the 4 to 6-pound range being caught and released all summer. Guests have access to 14 miles of Barrel Lake and 18 miles of the Smallmouth Bass stuffed English River. The Smallmouth Bass on the English River seem to get really fat and fight extra hard. The camp offers really nice lakeside housekeeping cabins and a remote outpost camp way down on the river.
Merkel's Camp is located between Dryden and Dinorwic Ontario and on the north shore of Wabigoon Lake with close access to Dinorwic Lake. Both of these lakes are considered among the best Smallmouth Bass fishing lakes in Ontario. Smallmouth Bass can be caught in the hundreds between 1 and 4 pounds. Monster trophy Smallmouth Bass in the 5 and 6-pound class get caught by guests almost every day and occasionally 7-pounders get caught. They have 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom lakeside housekeeping cottages on Wabigoon Lake as well as a drive-to outpost camp on Little Basket Lake.

Prairie Bee Outpost Camps is located on Prairie Bee Lake, which is located between Chapleau and Wawa, Ontario. They have great Smallmouth Bass fishing. Guests can expect to catch tons of little bass and 10 to 20 Smallmouth Bass per day between 4 and 6 pounds. The Smallmouth Bass are most common in the 1 to 3 pound range. There are Smallmouth Bass in the 7-pound range but they are very rare. That would be a 23-inch Smallmouth Bass, which would be a fish of a lifetime for most bass hunters. At the far west end of the lake they have an extremely remote outpost camp. The main camp is located at the north-east end of the lake. Both camps are extremely remote boat-to camps. From the main camp you have access to Windermere Lake, which is one is also one of the best Smallmouth Bass lakes in Ontario.
Murray Lake Cottages & Outpost Camps is located south of Missanabie and between Wawa and Chapleau, Ontario. They and located on Murray Lake, which has outstanding Smallmouth Bass fishing with both high numbers and big trophies. Their guests can also get boat access to McMurty Lake and Dog Lake. If you like catching and eating Smallmouth Bass than it will take you a few minutes to catch lunch. The shoreline has hoards of Smallmouth Bass in the 1 to 3-pound range with quite a few bigger bass in the 4 and 5-pound range. If you specifically target Smallmouth Bass you should catch a 6-pounder and some of their guests have even caught Smallmouth over 7 pounds but a bass that size is rare. They also have boat caches on several remote backcountry portage lakes with great bass fishing. They have five lakefront housekeeping cabins that sleep between four and nine adults. They have two boat-to outpost camps on Loon Lake and Shikwamkwa Lake and both camps have fantastic. Their rates are the best in Ontario. They also have fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Brook Trout and Perch.
Carpenter Lake Cabins is located in Bruce Mines, Ontario, which is just east of Sault Ste. Marie. Carpenter Lake, along with other surrounding lakes, have good Smallmouth Bass fishing. Smallmouth Bass in the 1 to 3-pound range are common with guests catching 4, 5 and even 6-pound Smallmouth Bass. They offer beautiful lakeside cottages. Smallmouth Bass can be found in good sizes and great numbers with bass being common in the 1 o 5-pound range and sometimes even 6-pound bass or 7-pound bass being caught. Five Mile Lake Lodge & Outpost Camps is located on Five Mile Lake, which is south of Chapleau, Ontario. They offer good fishing for Smallmouth Bass in their main lake. If you are looking for a place that is just stuffed with Smallmouth Bass where you are catching one after another, then consider going to their outpost camp on Goldie Lake. Smallmouth Bass is the dominant species on this lake. You can catch bass after bass all day long in a total wilderness setting.
Lake Onaping Lodge & Northern Wilderness Outpost Camps is located on Lake Onaping, which has the best reputation for monster-size trophy Smallmouth Bass. Smallmouth Bass are everywhere and you have 2200 miles of rocky shoreline to explore. Smallmouth Bass are common in the 1 to 5-pound range. The lodge is located on the west shore and outpost cabins are locaded in various remote locations on Lake Onaping.
Indian Lake Lodge is located on the famous Indian Chain of Lakes, which is north of Vermilion Bay, Ontario and not far from the Manitoba border. From their lodge you have nine lakes to boat through. There is one special lake named Brownie Lake, which you need to portage to. This lake gets very little fishing pressure. As a result the rocky shorelines are teaming with Smallmouth Bass. If you target Smallmouth Bass you should catch good numbers with them being most common in the 2 to 5 pound range. There have been Smallmouth Bass over 6 pounds caught and released and there is no reason why something bigger can be caught. Indian Lake Lodge has cozy lakefront cottages that vary in size for small and lodge groups. They offer fantastic 18-foot fishing boat rentals with electric start motors and electric trolling motors. They also have fishing for Walleye, Lake Trout, Musky, Northern Pike and Perch.
Vance's Resort is located at the mouth of the Spanish River and the North Channel, Lake Huron. They are south of Espanola Ontario. Vance's Resort has a great variety of excellent fishing including outstanding Smallmouth Bass fishing and Largemouth Bass fishing. Smallmouth Bass are common up to 5 pounds while Largemouth Bass can be found up to 4 pounds. They offer housekeeping cottages and a full service marina. This is a beautiful camp to bring the whole family as there are tons of activities other than fishing.
Hidden River Lodge is located on Whitefish Lake, which is part of the famous Michipicoten River System. The closest civilization is the tourist outpost town of Wawa, Ontario. Hidden Lake has great fishing for Smallmouth Bass. Smallmouth Bass average around 2.5 pounds but bigger Smallmouth Bass up to 4.5 pounds can be caught. The Smallmouth Bass are caught off rocky shoals, rocky points and in the river. They have nice comfortable cabins and really nice boats. Nobody can beat their rates!
Four Seasons Guiding is a small and cozy family run outfitter on Big Pine Lake near Chapleau Ontario. They offer housekeeping cabins. Smallmouth Bass fishing in Big Pine Lake is not great but just a short drive from camp are little lakes that are stuffed with Smallmouth Bass where you can catch more bass in a day than an entire week at some other camps. Bass in the area are common in the 1 to 3-pound range.
Green Wilderness Lodge & Outpost Camps is located in Northern Ontario between Gogama and Timmins. They have great fishing for Smallmouth Bass. In there lake, Smallmouth Bass are one of the dominant species and you can come across hunting packs of smaller Smallmouth Bass in the 1/2 to 2 pound range and catch bass after bass for hours. The really big Smallmouth Bass travel in pairs and you have to hunt the shoreline if you want to get into some of the monster Smallmouth in the 5 to 7-pound mark that are found in their lake.
They have nice lakeside cottages and outpost camps and offer both housekeeping plan and American Plan at their basecamp.
Northwest Outfitters is located on Shoal Lake which is part of Lake Of The Woods. Northwest Outfitters has great Smallmouth Bass fishing and Largemouth Bass fishing. The lake is swarming with Smallmouth Bass up to 6 pounds with Largemouth Bass common in the 1 to 4 pound range but a few old Bucketmouths in the 8-pound range to get caught once in a while. Their main lodge is an outpost lodge, which is only accessible by their high-speed boat service or float plane. They offer American Plan accommodations as well as housekeeping outpost cabins.
Lac Seul Outpost Lodge has the best Smallmouth Bass fishing in Lac Seul. Smallmouth Bass are not a dominant species in Lac Seul and you can't catch them everywhere. It just happens that the best place to catch Smallmouth Bass I is right by their lodge. If you specifically hunt down Smallmouth you will catch good number as the area around our camp has the greatest numbers. They offer beautiful lakeside cottages that are luxurious to most camps in Northwestern Ontario.
Birch Dale Lodge is located on Eagle Lake, south of Waldhof and Vermilion Bay and just west of Dryden. They have outstanding fishing for Smallmouth Bass. In the spring, the main location for spawning is right near their camp. You can catch your limit in a couple of minutes. People go there for the trophies. Smallmouth Bass are common in the 1 to 4-pound range with many 5,6 and 7-pound Smallmouth Being Caught. They offer housekeeping cabins and a restaurant where you can order anything you want and even cook your own steaks.
Bonny Bay Camp is located on the famous Wabigoon Lake, which is well known all over North America for it's monster size Smallmouth Bass. Not only do the Sallmouth Bass get big, there are tons of them. You can find schools of smaller Smallmouth Bass and catch a bass every cast for hours. Not traveling in schools are the big trophies that can be consitantly caught in the 5 to 6-pound range with even the odd 7-pounder. Check out their photo gallery. That says it all. Seine River Lodge is located near Atikokan, Ontario and between Quetico Provincial Park and the White Otter Wilderness Preserve. They have outstanding fishing for Smallmouth Bass. In actual fact, the Smallmouth Bass fishing is so popular that their business has been booming. These lakes were turned into a park because of the magnificent rock structures that can be found in the area. Not only does this create beauty, it created the perfect habitat for Smallmouth bass to proliferate in unprecedented numbers and size. 4 and 5-pound Smallmouth Bass are common and a lucky few will catch them over 7 pounds and sometimes 8-pounders get caught but they are rare and usually too smart to get caught. They offer housekeeping and American Plan lakeside fishing cabins as well as a campground fpr tenters and RVs. They are also one of the biggest deep wilderness canoe trip outfitters in the region.
Happy Day Lodge is located on Windermere Lake, which is the best Smallmouth Bass fishing lake in the Chapleau area. There are lots of Smallmouth Bass ranging from small 2 pounds up to 6 pounds to even larger trophies off all the many rock points. The lake is just swarming Smallmouth bass. Happy Day Lodge is the only lodge on the lake. They have really nice lakeside cabins and boats.
Red Cedar Lake Camp is located north of North Bay and west of Marten River on a big Smallmouth Bass stuffed lake most people drive by and don't even know is there. Their Smallmouth Bass fishing is the best in the region with guests catching between 10 and 25 bass per day. Their claim-to-fame is the size of their Smallmouth bass. There are a high number of Smallmouth Bass in the 3 to 6 pound range and sometimes bass as big as 7 pounds get caught. They have 11 lakefront cottages that sleep between 2 and 11 people. They offer American Plan and Housekeeping Plan with delicious home cooked meals served in their main lodge. They have fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout on top of being the best Smallmouth Bass lake in the area.
